虽然Apple没有正式公布，但原来他们日前秘密为游戏玩家们带来好消息，在本周一推出的iOS、iPadOS、macOS和tvOS更新中，加入了对任天堂Classic系列游戏手柄的支持。开发者Steve Troughton率先在Twitter分享他的发言，网站MacStories也测试并作出证实。
Troughton表示在iOS和tvOS升级16.1版本后，他的Switch用任天堂超任Classic手柄已经能够连接使用，他相信红白机和N64版本的Classic手柄都同样支持。MacStories及后测试了N64版Classic手柄，证明已经对应上述新版本系统。

iPhone、iPad、Mac和Apple TV用户只要以蓝牙连接任天堂Classic手柄，就可以在各类支持的游戏使用手柄操控，也包括了香港未有提供的Apple Arcade订阅服务内的游戏。
